Work Club
A learndirect report has recently shown a huge Skills Gap between what job seekers think employers are looking for and what employers really are looking for.
Do you recognise the importance of your own skills and the skills you have to work on?
The Hope Foundation runs a Work Club, supported by National Careers Service advisors which will help you analyse your own skills, build on them and sell them effectively to potential employers.
We run a number of workshops helping you to understand and use Universal Jobs Match and teach you the basic IT skills needed to type a CV, email it to employers and search for jobs online.
You could then sign up for the IT for Work qualification to improve your job search, application and interview techniques.
You can also work towards qualifications in English, Maths and IT while you seek work which will improve your CV and show employers how motivated you are to be the candidate they are looking for.
Contact Us for more information about how we can support you in your job search at The Hope Foundation.
